Cook County Tea Party has scheduled an online meeting for Monday, October 11th, 2010. The meeting will begin at 7pm and end by 7:30pm, just in time for the beginning of Monday Night football.
This meeting is open to the public. People who live in and outside of Cook County are invited to attend.
Agenda
6:50 pm – Early Check in begins.
If you have never participated in an online meeting. It would be a good idea for you to check into the online meeting room early. That way, you can get familiar with the online meeting format.
7pm – Meeting Begins
1) Welcome
2) Discussion about how to ask questions during the online meeting
3) Upcoming Tea Party Events
4) Cook County Tea Party Straw Poll. There is a form on the Cook County Tea Party website where you can participate in the straw poll for the November 2010 election. The poll is now live, so you can take the poll right now.
5) Cook County Election Judges/Poll Watchers. Emails circulated last week about paid positions for Cook County election judges and poll watchers. No more paid positions are available. However, there are other opportunities to contribute to Cook County ballot integrity during early voting and on election day and we will discuss the ways you can get involved.
6) John Bambenk discusses the Amendment to the State Constitution, why it is a sham and why you should vote NO on November 2, 2010.
7) John Bambenek discusses the three judges who are running for Supreme Court retention and why he recommends that you vote NO so that they are not retained. The three judges are Supreme Court Justices Fitzgerald, Freeman and Kilbride.
If you live in Cook County (1st District) or Bureau, Fulton, Grundy, Hancock, Henderson, Henry, Iroquois, Kankakee, Knox, LaSalle, Marshall, McDonough, Mercer, Peoria, Putnam, Rock Island, Tazewell, Warren, Whiteside, and Will Counties (3rd District), you will be able to vote in these races.
7) If time permits, Jom Bambenek discusses running for local offices in the 2011.

Online Meeting Info and Tips
If you can sign on to Facebook, check email, and watch a video, then you have the technical skill level to participate in an online meeting. Really, it is very easy.
In this meeting, participants will be able to see the host (Laurie) and the guest (John) and also see the Laurie’s computer screen.
We will not be able to see you, so you don’t have to worry about how you look when you sign on to the meeting. We will not be able to hear you, but you will be able to ask questions by writing the questions in a chat box
